10 Minute Christmas Cards

It seems I'm very short on time this holiday season and although I have an abundance of Christmas cards I've already made, I was really short on cards that were easy to mail (i.e. flat!!) this holiday season.

So I went searching some of my favourite blogs for inspiration and whipped up a bunch of cards very quickly using two great designs.

The first card was inspired by TwinDragonfly Designs.
Here is my take on her card:

Truly so quick & easy - - kraft cardstock base, the snowflakes were punched using my Martha Stewart snowflake punch from retired CTMH Christmas paper, stamped a simple sentiment in the bottom corner, and added some baker's twine for the perfect (flat) embellishment!

My second card was inspired by one of the entries a few weeks ago on the Clean & Simple Stamping Blog for their sketch #220.  The card I saw was designed by Jen Mitchell.

And here is my take:

Again - so easy!  My daughter helped me put these ones together and we had a stack of ready to mail cards in no time!   Kraft cardstock base, strip of washi tape from my stash, and a strip of retired Christmas paper, decorated with a stamped ornament (cut out with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge) and tied with bakers twine.  I mounted the ornament with foam tape for just a little dimension.

If you still have a few cards to make this year and are running short on time - - I hope these cards will inspire you!!  You still have time to do 'handmade'!
