I'm getting a few things ready to demo and prep for my make & take . . . and I thought this card design by Lisa Stenz was a perfect example for our theme this weekend which is "Spring Cleaning - Using up Your Scraps!". So easy - use your trimmer or punch to make some squares out of your scrap patterned paper (my squares are 1 1/2" each). Adhere them & then create stitching (faux or real) overtop for a patchwork look (my stitching is faux - - I used one of my ABSOLUTE favourite stamp sets - "Simple Stitches"). Isn't it pretty?
Materials Used (all Close to My Heart):
Life Delights Level 2 Paper Pack (retired)
Simple Stitches Acrylic Stamp Set
Happy Birthday Acrylic Stamp Set
Just Blooms Paper Flowers (dyed with re-inker)
Ink: Chocolate
Very pretty, love the faux stitching!
