Another very simple sympathy card made for my MIL.
Materials Used (all Close to My Heart):
- Grace Level 2 Paper Pack
- Best Wishes Acrylic Stamp Set
- Tickled Pink Acrylic Stamp Set - 2009 promo item, not available to order (but the Delightful Things stamp set has a very similar flower!)
- Organdy Ribbon (retired)
- Ink: Barn Red, Twilight
- Cardstock: Colonial White and Textured Barn Red
On a side note - I registered today for Stacey Julian's online "Library of Memories" class today! SO EXCITED!! Not sure where I'll find the time to complete the assignments, etc. - but after having read the books - I feel like I want to know more as I put her philosophy into action in my own scrap room. She only offers the course once per year and I just couldn't bear to wait a whole year!!! I'll keep you posted about my progress!!
Another beauty!
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous Carla and such a hard card to make, for me at least. I usually buy any sympathy cards I need. Have fun with the course. Can't wait to hear what you learn.
ReplyDeleteCarla,
ReplyDeleteThis card is so elegant! I love it!
Good for you, registering to the class - I would love to do something like that and keep letting life (well, the paying job) get in the way! Go for it!
Hugs!
Great card Carla!I do love that paper. Can't wait to hear about your class.
ReplyDeleteThis card is very lovely too, if a sympathy card could be lovely.
ReplyDeleteStacey is one of my heroes in the buz. Please keep us updated about all you learn from her and have fun!
Blessings,
Kim xXx
